      Stuart P.M. Mackintosh is the Executive Director of the Group of Thirty, an international financial think tank comprised senior figures from central banking, the financial sector, and academia.  His research focus centers on macroeconomic and systemic risks, global governance issues, and the international political economy.

       

      Dr. Mackintosh has served as President of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE), the largest professional organization of economists in the United States. He is an elected member of the Conference of Business Economists, and is a Certified Business Economist. Dr. Mackintosh has a B.A. and Ph.D. from Newcastle University and a M.Sc. from the University of Edinburgh. In 2018 Dr. Mackintosh was appointed a non-resident Visiting Fellow at Newcastle University.

      Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, MSCI Inc.

      Henry Fernandez is chairman and chief executive officer of MSCI Inc., a leading global provider of investment decision tools, including indices under the MSCI brand, portfolio risk and performance analytics under the Barra and RiskMetrics brands, and corporate governance products and services under the ISS brand.  MSCI has almost 6,000 institutional clients in over sixty countries.

       

      Before becoming chief executive officer of MSCI in 1998, Henry Fernandez was a managing director of Morgan Stanley, where he worked from 1983 to 1991 and again from 1994 to 1998.  Between 1993 and 1994 he was president of HispaniMedia, Inc., a private equity investment firm in the United States.  He also founded Ferco Partners Inc., a private equity investment firm in Mexico, and served as its chairman and president from 1991 to 193.  From 1976 to 1979 he was a diplomat in the Nicaraguan Embassy in Washington, D.C.

       

      Henry Fernandez is chairman of the Advisory Council of the Sanford University Graduate School of Business, a member of the Board of Directors and the College Board of Advisors of Georgetown University, a trustee of the Board of the Trinity School in New York City, and a trustee of the Board of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York.

       

      He received a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from Stanford University.  He also pursued doctoral studies in economics at Princeton University.
