President of Federal Reserve to receive medal

The Foreign Policy Association (FPA) will be presenting its Medal to the President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, John Williams, who will also deliver a major policy address regarding the U.S. economy. The talk will be held at the FPA’s Financial Services Dinner at the St. Regis on March 5th. Also receiving the FPA Medal is Costis Magalaras, Dean of the Columbia Business School.

The FPA will also recognize BlackRock and First Republic Bank. Accepting the FPA’s Corporate Social Responsibility Award on behalf of their companies is Rob Goldstein, Chief Operating Officer & Global Head of BlackRock Solutions, as well as James H. Herbert II, Founder, Chairman and CEO of First Republic Bank. The CSR Award is bestowed to companies that meet the highest standard of responsible corporate citizenship.

The Financial Services Dinner is the highlight of the Foreign Policy Association’s programming, and brings together leaders of the financial services industry from around the globe.
