      Eric Margolis, contributing foreign editor to the Toronto Sun chain of newspapers, is a prominent journalist. His articles have appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Miami Herald, the Houston Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Mainichi in Tokyo, Japan, the Asian Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times and the International Herald Tribune. He is the foreign correspondent for the internet website "BigEye" and regularly contributes a column to Dawn, a Pakistan publication.

       

      His new book on India/Pakistan/China, War at the top of the World, published by Routledge, New York was selected by The Economists as one of several books that provide a background to the events of September 11. Mr. Margolis is a regular commentator for TV Ontario and CBC TV. He has also appeared on "Good Morning America", ABC TV News, CNN, CBS TV News and PBS New York.

       

      Mr. Margolis is affiliated with the International Institute of Strategic Studies, London, the National Press Club, Washington, D.C. and the Institute of Regional Studies, Islamabad, Pakistan. In 1998, he received the South Asian Journalist Association award.

       

      Born in New York City, Mr. Margolis attended Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service where he received his B.S.F.S. He earned his lic. droit at the University of Geneva, Switzerland and his M.B.A from New York University.
