Event Transcripts and Video
FPA.org invites you to the second of its three summer screenings. "Iraq in Fragments" is a visual tour de force that tells the story of modern Iraq through the eyes of three Iraqis, one Sunni, one Shia and one Kurd.
Directed by James Longley, the film took the prize for Best Director and Best Cinematography at the Sundance Film Festival, and was nominated for an Academy Award in 2007.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Ayub Nuri, an Iraqi journalist and former "fixer" for American and international news outlets, who will share his experiences covering the war. He has appeared on Charlie Rose and written for the New York Times Magazine and the Washington Post among other media organizations.
