Program Associate (INLT 23)

NCSC is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Associate in Arlington, Virginia.

Title and Job Code: Program Associate (INTL 23)

Duties: The Program Associate will provide support to the administration of international judicial reform programs funded by USAID and other donors. The Program Associate will contribute to budget development, tracking and reporting; provide input into proposal development; assist with consultant recruitment, hiring, and deployment; contribute to contract compliance review; and maintain program files. In addition, the Program Associate will support the tracking of departmental budgets. Limited international travel will be required.

Salary: Based on experience, up to $47,000; plus comprehensive benefit offerings.

Qualifications: Competitive candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in related field such as international affairs, economics, or political science; A minimum of two years of experience providing administrative and financial support for USAID, State Department, or other donor-funded development programs; Demonstrated ability to develop and track budgets using Microsoft Excel; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to a variety of internal and external audiences; Strong organizational skills; Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively; Ability to work independently and proactively. Prior experience supporting programs in Africa, Asia, or Middle East is preferred; Fluency in English and French, Arabic, or other relevant language required. Candidate must be eligible or authorized to work in the U.S.
