Campaigns Manager

We are seeking a Campaigns Manager to work in our Washington DC headquarters to take point on campaign messages, writing and communications with current members and chapters. The Campaigns Manager will produce online actions; coordinate blog postings; construct campaign content, coordinate campaign meetings and have primary responsibility for successfully managing and increasing the size and scope of the GlobalSolutions.org grassroots community.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of demonstrated success in online membership building, campaign supervision, and preferably previous experience with an online movement-driven organization. Experience with Salsa CRM (Democracy in Action) will be helpful. Additionally, an ideal candidate will have the ability to introduce innovative campaign promotion ideas and recommend social media strategies that will increase campaign participation, website visits, and on-line donors.

We are looking for candidates who are organized and disciplined, possess good verbal and written communication skills, and can operate independently to complete tasks and solve problems. As a relatively small organization, we are seeking candidates who are collegial, collaborative and able to handle multiple tasks and spontaneous demands.
