Senior Budget & Finance Specialist

ACDI/VOCA has approximately 90 projects in 40 countries and total revenues of approximately $168 million.

 We are seeking a D.C.-based senior budget & finance specialist to support the pricing of new business proposals, prepare various monthly financial reports and provide ad hoc financial analyses.  Responsibilities will include preparing cost proposals for new business activities, preparing and reviewing budget narratives and justifications, preparing documentation for cost volume submissions, developing proposal budget templates, creating cost-related responses to post-submission requests as well as assembling, manipulating and formatting financial data and reports.  A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; master’s degree preferred.  At least four years’ experience in budgeting and/or accounting is required.  Must be able to work with complex data, define problems and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
