CATO Institute

The CATO Institute has, since its establishment in 1977, promoted public policy based on individual liberty, limited government, free markets and peace. Cato's foreign policy work supports the concepts of a national defense based on strategic independence and

Office of War Crimes Issues

United States Institute of Peace (USIP)

The U.S. Institute of Peace web site is a nonpartisan federal institution funded by Congress to strengthen the nation's ability to promote the peaceful resolution of international conflicts. The site contains press releases, articles, transcripts, videos and special reports analyzing U.S. foreign policy and conjecturing on the best way forward to bring peace to troubled areas. This site should be useful for educators looking for grants, fellowships and teaching material and for students who wish to do research through the U.S.I.P.'s online library or receive news reports and comprehensive discussions about particular regions or conflicts of interest.

Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars

Established as an international center for scholars, the Center memorializes Woodrow Wilson -- professor, university president, and twenty-eighth president of the United States -- by supporting scholarship and linking that scholarship to issues of concern to official Washington. It does so by offering fellowships and other support to high-level professors, public officials, journalists, professionals and other leaders, giving them special opportunities for research and writing.
